Warning issued against fraudulent emails

Standard Chartered Bank (HK) has clarified it has not sent the emails to customers.

A news.gov.hk report said the Monetary Authority has issued an alert on emails purporting to be sent from Standard Chartered Bank (HK) which connect to fraudulent websites.

“The emails ask customers to use an embedded hyperlink to connect to fraudulent websites www.cobyskingdom.hu/redirecttweb.php or www.ddrcp.com/data/file/board_0107/redirect.php, and verify their account information by entering their Internet banking account’s user name and password,” said the report.
