AIA and Chi Longevity tackle wealthy clients' ageing concerns
The partnership will establish a dedicated centre in Hong Kong later this year.
AIA Hong Kong & Macau has partnered with Singapore-based healthy longevity medicine provider Chi Longevity to offer longevity and precision geromedicine services to high-net-worth (HNW) customers in Hong Kong.
The collaboration will include the launch of an AIA Alta longevity centre later this year, where eligible customers will have access to longevity science solutions developed by Chi Longevity.
The partnership follows findings from AIA Alta’s High-Net-Worth Optimal Longevity Index, which found a gap between awareness of longevity issues and preparedness for longer lives.
Respondents scored 74 points for awareness but only 54 points for preparedness.
AIA said the findings point to demand among affluent customers for more personalised solutions to support healthy ageing and long-term wellbeing.
Chi Longevity, co-founded by Professor Andrea B. Maier, uses an evidence-based approach to healthy longevity and precision geromedicine.
Its programmes combine diagnostics with interventions designed to help individuals understand how they are ageing, identify areas for action and monitor their health over time.
