HKEx launches new data products for subscription

Also introduces new system in its securities market.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd has launched new historical securities and derivatives data products for subscription. These include a new Historical Full Book (Securities Market) product that allows subscribers to download complete order book information for every order and trade of HKEx's Main Board and Growth Enterprise Market shares beginning September 30. onwards.

HKEx also rolled out the first phase of its Orion Market Data Platform (OMD) with the introduction of the new system in its securities market.

OMD provides low-latency market data and allows HKEx to offer a range of datafeed products with different content and other features to meet the varying needs of information vendors, Exchange Participants and investors. The next phases of OMD are tentatively scheduled for rollout in the first half of 2014.
