China's bar-restaurant chain Commune makes Hong Kong debut

It also plans to establish its regional headquarters to oversee international expansion.

Mainland China-based bar and restaurant chain Commune has opened its first outlet in Hong Kong as part of its overseas expansion.

"We are deeply committed to Hong Kong, with plans to open additional store locations over the next 12 months," said Fan Xiameng, co-founder and chief brand officer of Commune.

The new outlet, located at Lee Garden Three in Causeway Bay, will serve as the company's flagship store in the city.

Commune also plans to establish its regional headquarters in Hong Kong to oversee its international expansion.

Founded as a directly operated bar and restaurant chain, Commune offers food and beverages throughout the day.

The company operates more than 100 outlets across mainland China.
