Kai Tak transit system attracts 30 EOIs

It drew interest from local, Mainland, and international companies.

The government received 30 expressions of interest (EOIs) for the Kai Tak transit system from local, mainland, and international companies.

The Transport & Logistics Bureau and Civil Engineering Department will now assess these EOIs to refine the project’s technical and financial plans.

The government aims to open tendering next year and award the contract by 2026.

It plans to complete the project three years ahead of schedule through innovative construction methods.
