Adrian Cheng resigns from New World Development board

He is leaving to focus on public service and personal commitments.

Dr. Adrian Cheng Chi-Kong has resigned as non-executive director and non-executive vice-chairman of New World Development Company Limited, effective 1 July 2025.

According to the Company’s board of directors, Cheng tendered his resignation in order to devote more time to public service and other personal commitments.

Cheng confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and that there are no matters related to his resignation that require the attention of shareholders or The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The Board expressed its sincere appreciation to Dr. Cheng for his valuable contributions during his tenure with the Company.
