Razer unit invests US$2.3m in console creator Loupedeck

Loupedeck seeks to continue its live stream growth.

Razer, through its corporate venture arm, zVentures, invested some €2m, approximately US$2.3m, in Helsinki-based custom console creator, Loupedeck.

The investment will be used to continue Loupedeck’s live stream growth, taking off from the Loupedeck Live that was released in September 2020.

“Our mission is to make the lives of content creators more seamless and successful, and our recent entry into the live streaming market has allowed us to expand that mission to help streamers as well,” Loupedeck Founder and CEO Mikko Kesti said.

“Live streaming has seen exponential growth over the past year; and with Razer’s partnership, we are well-positioned to continue building the market share of live streamers looking to level up their streams.”

Loupedeck, which was founded in 2016, has had success in the Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that exceeded its original target by 488%.

It offers three consoles, the Loupedeck+, Loupedeck CT, and Loupedeck Live, which offer deep integrations, seamless control, and intuitively designed interfaces.
