DBS names Ng SIer Han as next CEO of DBS Hong Kong
Lim Chu Chong will take over as DBS Taiwan's CEO, and Adrian Chai will become president director of DBS Indonesia.
DBS has named Ng Sier Han as the next CEO of DBS Bank (Hong Kong), effective 1 March 2027.
Ng is presently CEO of DBS Taiwan, a role he has occupied since 2023. He led the integration of Citi’s consumer business and established DBS as Taiwan’s largest foreign bank.
Sebastian Paredes, head of North Asia and CEO of DBS Hong Kong, will retire from executive duties after 16 years in DBS. He will stay on as a senior advisor beginning 1 March.
Lim Chu Chong, president director of DBS Indonesia, will become CEO of DBS Taiwan beginning 1 January 2027.
Adrian Chai, managing director of the institutional banking group, will assume the role of president director of DBS Indonesia beginning 1 December 2026.
