Sofa Bar Livehouse to open first Hong Kong venue by end-September

Chengdu-based operator will occupy the space at 60 Wyndham Street.

CBRE announced that Sofa Bar Livehouse will open its first Hong Kong venue in Central by the end of September, after securing about 3,100 sq. ft. of street-front retail space at The Centrium.

The Chengdu-based live music salon operator will occupy the space at 60 Wyndham Street, in which CBRE assisted it in securing the premises.

The operator plans to host performances by folk musicians, emerging artists and multicultural talent at the venue.

“As we expand beyond Mainland China for the first time, Central was a natural choice for our Hong Kong debut,” Sofa Bar Livehouse said.

“We look forward to creating a distinctive livehouse experience that celebrates music, culture and human connection while contributing to the city's vibrant nightlife scene,” it added.
