Tourism Board launches Arabic version of website

Provides more tailored information for Arabic Web surfers.

The Arabic version of the Hong Kong Tourism Board website is located at www.discoverhongkong.com and offers varied information on visiting Hong Kong.

The website features an interactive itinerary planner that will allow travelers to plan their trip to Hong Kong. HKTB said its website’s Arabic interface provides greater convenience for Hong Kong’s growing number of visitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

The Arabic translation is part of HKTB’s strategy of increasing promotional effort in new markets. The GCC market is a key market for Hong Kong.

In addition to the Arabic website, HKTB is carrying out a number of awareness initiatives across the region. These include working with major travel agents, distributing a tailor-made Arabic family guide books and a consumer promotion event to showcase the dynamic aspects of Hong Kong.
