Savills named top broker in China, Hong Kong markets

It has a market share of 30% and 53% in China and Hong Kong, respectively.

Property agent Savills plc has been named the top broker in China and Hong Kong in the 2020 Top Global Investment Brokers of the Real Capital Analytics (RCA).

According to RCA, Savills ranked first as a broker for all property types as its market share in China stood at 30% and 53% in Hong Kong.

“At Savills, we have always prided ourselves on being able to adapt to changing market conditions and the changing expectations of our clients,” said Raymond Lee chief executive officer for Greater China at Savills.

“Headwind remains as the world gradually recovers from the global pandemic, but we are confident to strike the deals and won the trust of clients spanning the full range of real estate sectors,” he added.

Savills also had a strong transactional performance in both markets, closing real estate investment transactions worth over RMB20b in China and $18.6b in Hong Kong in 2020.

Among the major deals of Savills during the year were the SML Tower in Hong Kong and LG Twin Towers in Beijing.

Savills is a global real estate services provider, listed in the London Stock Exchange. It has over 650 offices in the Americas, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.
