Gov’t approves four building plans in July

The department also received 2,773 reports about unauthorised building works.

The Buildings Department approved four building plans in July, one in Kowloon and three in the New Territories.

Of the approved plans, one was for an apartment development, one was for a commercial development, and two were for community services developments.

Approval was also granted for 16 building projects that will provide 2,216 residential units with 118,275 square metres of gross floor area (GFA) and 44,053 sq. m. of non-domestic GFA.

Additionally, the department issued 17 occupation permits, three on Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon and 11 in the New Territories.

Meanwhile, the department received 2,773 reports about unauthorised building works and issued 705 removal orders.
