HK Airlines launches additional widebody aircraft to speed up business recovery

The airline is also boosting its recruitment by looking for local and global talent.

Hong Kong Airlines announced that the newly added A330 widebody aircraft made its first flight to Bangkok on 21 June to accommodate the pent-up demand during summer travel.

It is also adding two more A330s this summer to further boost its capacity to deliver the best possible service to customers and support its expanding route network.

The fuel-efficient A330 widebody aircraft features a total of 292 seats, with 32 in Business Class and 260 in Economy Class. The new A330 is refurbished with Hong Kong Airlines’ classic seat covers

“With a total of three additional A330 widebody aircraft joining the fleet, the company is confident in its ability to meet passengers’ needs and drive business recovery,” it said.

Hong Kong Airlines Chairman Hou Wei said its profitability has improved amidst the increase in ticket sales and load factor. He added that they are speeding up flight recovery.
