Cathay Pacific halts Dubai and Riyadh flights through 31 May
The airline cited the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Cathay Pacific Airways has cancelled its Dubai and Riyadh passenger flights up to and including 31 May, citing the ongoing volatile situation in the Middle East, according to a press statement.
The airline said it is monitoring the situation closely and will remain flexible in its response, noting that customer and staff safety guides every decision.
Affected travellers will be offered options to rebook, reroute, or cancel their tickets, it added.
Meanwhile, to meet rising demand to Europe, Cathay Pacific will operate three additional pairs of flights to Paris and Zurich each, and upgrade 13 existing pairs of London flights in April to provide more seats, the airline said.
It added that it continues to review its schedule and potential deployment of additional capacity.
