The airline will operate close to 100 return flights per week to 12 Europe destinations. 

It will be operated by Cathay’s Airbus A350-900 fleet.

Flights departing from HKIA will use SAF produced by Sinopec.

It also plans to open new flagship lounges in Hong Kong.

The new addition marks the sixth new passenger destination launched this year.

By using SAF, the partners reduced carbon emissions by 8,060 tonnes in 2024.

Its cargo businesses reported positive volume growth.

These initiatives are part of the airline’s $100b investment.
