Lalamove expands Middle East operations
It will set up a branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia later this year.
Logistics platform Lalamove plans to expand its branch in the Middle East by entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), after launching localised services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in May.
The establishment of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's (HKTDC) Istanbul Consultant Office helped boost the company entering this largest economy in the Middle East.
The HKTDC introduced Lalamove to the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, which shared details of investment incentives and assistance for setting up in the country.
The HKTDC also provided business advisory and compiled financial and legal reports to help bring Lalamove to Turkey.
Lalamove expanded its services to Sharjah a major city in the UAE in July, after entering Dubai in May. The UAE is an important transportation and logistics hub connecting Asia, Europe and Africa, said the company,
In addition to the Middle East, Lalamove also plans to increase its market share in two emerging regions, ASEAN and Latin America.
The company is now providing services in the six major economies in Southeast Asia and Brazil and Mexico in Latin America.
