Hong Kong to review civil servant childcare leave policy

Civil servants were given three-day leave.

The Hong Kong government will monitor the new policy granting civil servants three days of childcare leave per year.

Secretary for the Civil Service Ingrid Yeung said the government will review how the policy will work and see if there is room for improvement after being implemented for some time.

She also said they plan to explore technological solutions to address civil service manpower as outlined in the recent Policy Address.
