HK and Saudi Arabia strengthen dispute resolution collaboration

The Department of Justice plans to visit to promote HK's legal services.

The Department of Justice (DoJ) of Hong Kong and the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Justice signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance dispute avoidance and resolution collaboration.

The MoU will establish a framework to enhance service development in both markets.

The DoJ plans to visit the Middle East,  including Saudi Arabia, to meet with local legal and business experts to promote Hong Kong’s legal and dispute resolution services.

The MoU, following agreements with Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Brunei, boosts Hong Kong's role as a key hub for legal and dispute resolution services in Asia-Pacific and supports exchanges along the Belt & Road.
