Tech funding holds steady at US$50m in April
Funding was unchanged from March but rose 71.96% YoY, with Botinkit accounting for the month’s top deal.
Hong Kong tech companies raised US$50.0m in April 2026, unchanged from the previous month, according to Tracxn’s monthly funding tracker.
The figure was 71.96% higher than the US$29.1m raised in April 2025.
All funding recorded in April came from early-stage rounds. The month’s top deal was Botinkit, which raised US$50.0m.
No new unicorns emerged during the month. Hong Kong also recorded no IPOs or acquisitions in April 2026.
Funding remained below recent highs, including US$332m in December 2025 and US$221m in January 2026.
