Hang Seng Indexes names Paul Pong Advisory Committee member

The founder and managing director of Pegasus Fund Managers Limited, has over 20 years’ experience in the wealth management, fund management and securities industry.

Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (“Hang Seng Indexes”) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Mr Paul Pong as a member of the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee with immediate effect, according to a Hang Seng Indexes report.

Mr Pong, Founder and Managing Director of Pegasus Fund Managers Limited, also serves as President of The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong. He has over 20 years’ experience in the wealth management, fund management and securities industry. He regularly provides commentary on investment matters through various local and overseas media channels and is actively involved in helping to educate financial professionals in Hong Kong.

The Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee is an independent advisory body comprised of 12 members, nine of whom are specialists drawn from the Hong Kong SAR Government, universities, and the institutional investor and investment consultant communities. The Committee meets regularly to discuss matters relating to the Hang Seng Family of Indexes.
