FWD Hong Kong rolls out Crisis EasyGo series

Premium payment terms range from 10 to 25 years.

FWD Hong Kong has introduced the Crisis EasyGo series, tailored critical illness insurance plans for individuals with critical illness history.

The series includes UCanCover for cancer survivors, and UStillCover, aimed at those who have experienced heart disease or stroke.

The plans provide lifetime coverage with limited premium payment terms, addressing the protection gap amidst worries about securing insurance due to pre-existing conditions.

EasyGo series marks the first set of participating critical illness plans in Hong Kong that features simplified underwriting for those previously diagnosed with cancer, heart disease, or stroke.

UCanCover covers 62 major illnesses and 53 special conditions, whilst UStillCover covers 26 major illnesses and 23 special conditions.

Applicants are not required to undergo medical examinations; instead, they need to answer two underwriting questions. The premium payment terms range from 10 to 25 years, with coverage extending until age 100.

Additionally, FWD has collaborated with HKSH Medical Group to offer dietary consultations to eligible policyholders during the second policy year. The service includes an initial nutrition assessment and a follow-up session.
