The government is allocating $100m to attract large-scale international exhibitions with new elements to Hong Kong.
The funding will be used on a pilot basis in collaboration with relevant organisations, Financial Secretary Paul Chan said in his 2026-27 Budget Speech.
“Our objective is to develop Hong Kong into the first‑choice platform for showcasing Mainland and international brands, whilst attracting high‑spending business visitors to Hong Kong and driving high-value-added economic activities,” he added.
