Labour Department to offer 4,500 'quality job vacancies'

Monthly pay ranges from $13,000 to $21,000.

The Labour Department (LD) will hold the Turning a New Page Job Fair at North Point Community Hall on November 27 and 28, which offers 4,500 quality job vacancies.

"A wide variety of positions will be offered including occupational therapist, construction apprentice, purchasing clerk, pastry chef, customer services officer, gardener, delivery assistant, park operations and experience ambassador, technician and security guard," read the statement.

Around 64% of the job openings are full-time whilst monthly salaries range from $13,000 to $21,000. Over 91% of the vacancies require a Secondary Five education level or below. Around 49% are open to job seekers without relevant work experience.
      
"Job seekers can submit job applications during the event and may be selected for on-the-spot interviews. They can also make enquiries on the employment services provided by the LD at its counter inside the venue," it added.
