Shangri-La Asia Limited profit drops by 12% in FY2024

The decrease was due to a $74.6m (US$9.6m) drop in net gains from non-operating items.

Shangri-La Asia Limited’s profit attributable to owners of the company declined by 12.3% for the year ended 31 December 2024 (FY2024) to $1.26b (US$161.4m).

The decrease was attributed to a $74.6m (US$9.6m) drop in net gains from non-operating items. This offset the group’s consolidated revenue increase of 2% to $17.1b (US$2.2b).

Consolidated EBITDA decreased by 3.5% to $3.9b (US$503.9m), driven by an 87.9% reduction in the effective share of EBITDA from Property Development for Sale, which fell to $91.76m (US$11.8m).

The company declared a final dividend of $0.10 per share, bringing the total full-year dividend to $0.15 per share, amounting to approximately $544m (US$70m).
