Hong Kong travellers spent less abroad

Compared to the mainland, Hong Kong travellers spent $1,096 per night when travelling abroad.

According Hotels.coms Hotel Price Index, mainland Chinese travellers spent an average of $1,151 per night, over 100 more HKD than Singaporeans and 6 HKD more than those from the United Kingdom.

For domestic accommodation, at $876 Hong Kong travellers spent one of the lowest amounts, $67 more than the lowest spenders within their own borders, the Spanish.
