About 90% cited cash rebates and reward schemes as primary spending drivers.
Over 60% of respondents spend more frequently when offered dining or grocery privileges, whilst 90% cited cash rebates and reward schemes as primary spending drivers, a recent Hang Seng survey said.
This prompted Hang Seng Bank to expand its collaboration with DFI Retail Group’s yuu Rewards to enhance dining offers for enJoy Card users, aiming to stimulate card spending amidst steady retail recovery.
Under the expanded collaboration, enJoy Card holders can access new dining discounts and earn up to 4x yuu Points at over 1,700 retail and dining outlets. The move aligns with recent data showing Hong Kong’s retail sales rose 3.8% year on year in August, with credit card spending on dining and groceries up about 10%.
