Lands Department to sell 3 lots via public tender

Sale of Sha Tin lot and two others in Cheung Sha will start on October 28 and close November 25.

The Lands Department announced Wednesday a Sha Tin commercial site and two Lantau residential sites will be disposed of by public tender. The tender invitation will start on October 28 and close November 25.

The Sha Tin lot, at the junction of On Kwan and On Lai Streets in Shek Mun, has a site area of 6,540 square metres and is designated for non-residential (excluding hotel, petrol station and care home) purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 19,600 and 32,700 square metres, acording to a Lands Department report.

The first Lantau lot in Cheung Sha has a site area of 7,410 square metres, with minimum and maximum gross floor areas of 1,779 and 2,964 square metres. No more than 14 residential units can be built.

The other private lot, also in Cheung Sha, has a site area of 7,550 square metres, with minimum and maximum gross floor areas of 1,812 and 3,020 square metres. No more than 16 residential units can be built.

The final sale conditions will be available on the department’s website by October 28, when the particulars of the tender will be gazetted.
