Vantive Healthcare Limited earns recognition at Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2026

The vital organ therapy company advances home-based care by integrating digital tools into a connected platform.

Vantive Healthcare Limited won the Digital - Healthcare Technology category at the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2026 for HomeAdvantage, a fully integrated home dialysis ecosystem powered by the Vantive CONNECT digital suite. It combines peritoneal dialysis therapies, remote patient monitoring, and support services, giving clinicians access to treatment information whilst patients underwent therapy at home. 

Clinicians can monitor patients when they are taking traditional hospital-centred models; however, only limited visibility is allowed once treatment shifts to a patient’s residence.  HomeAdvantage addressed this gap through the Vantive CONNECT digital tools, including HomeChoice Claria automated peritoneal dialysis system, Sharesource, and MyPD. Together, these technologies help dialysis patients achieve better outcomes, while care teams could review therapy progress remotely and investigate potential concerns without relying solely on scheduled appointments. 

In addition to addressing patients’ medical needs, HomeAdvantage aims to address the mental and emotional challenges of therapy through digital solutions including remote connection and proactive support. Treatment data generated through HomeChoice Claria became available to clinicians via Sharesource, allowing them to assess therapy performance and incorporate current information into clinical decisions. 

MyPD patient mobile app replaced traditional paper-based recording with a digital method of documenting treatment details. Users could track their progress, review their therapy information, and remain in contact with their care teams in real time. The platform enables timely communication with care teams, which not only reduced dependence on physical record books but also simplified the transfer of information between patients and clinicians. Patient feedback on MyPD also pointed to easier treatment recording and less reliance on handwritten documentation. 

Sharesource was introduced across Hospital Authority clusters, extending remote patient management within Hong Kong’s public healthcare system. Research conducted by Hong Kong Children’s Hospital associated cloud-based monitoring with fewer unplanned hospitalisations, improved fluid management, and stronger treatment adherence. It also allows care teams to proactively address technique-related issues and alert clinical insights, helping patients navigate early therapy challenges. 

HomeAdvantage powered by Vantive CONNECT, supports patients and care teams throughout the home therapy journey with remote monitoring platform, timely patient communications with clinical staff, proactive assessment of treatment data, as well as visual representations of treatment data trends. Rather than treating home dialysis as a separate stage with limited oversight, the model allowed therapy information to remain available throughout the course of care. This would create an environment where both patients and care teams can manage the complexities of home dialysis more effectively."
