UniCom has earned two premier accolades at the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards—winning the Connectivity - Telecommunications and Data Centre - Telecommunications categories. UniCom secured the Connectivity - Telecommunications award for engineering an ultra-resilient, intelligent global network across 200+ countries and regions, designed to handle massive cross-border AI data flows. Driven by its "Tri-Net Synergy" strategy (China169, CUII, CUGNet), UniCom sets a new industry standard for cross-border infrastructure reliability.

Next-gen compute hub for AI scale

UniCom won the Data Centre - Telecommunications award for its flagship Global Intelligent · Cloud Data Center in Hong Kong’s Tseung Kwan O INNOPARK. Uniquely integrating two submarine cable landing stations directly inside the facility, the 37,000-square-meter hub offers an unprecedented blend of low-latency network edge and high-density compute.

Engineered specifically to solve thermal and power bottlenecks for demanding AI training workloads, the facility introduces three key technical breakthroughs: high-density rack architecture via its proprietary 67U and 77U rack designs, boosting space utilisation and server density by approximately 60%; advanced liquid cooling cabins via single-phase cold-plate liquid cooling that seamlessly manages high-power AI nodes scaling from 6kVA up to 20kVA+ per rack; and smart energy efficiency through optimised chilled-water hydraulics that lower pumping power consumption to less than 50% of rated capacity, setting new benchmarks for sustainable and energy-efficient data centres.

With a flawless 100% uptime record since 2016, validated by ISO, PCI DSS, and TVRA certifications, UniCom demonstrates how global digital infrastructure leaders can power the next decade of AI innovation.
