CTF Life demonstrates how connected AI creates enterprise-wide impact
This connected enterprise approach earned CTF Life the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2026.
Artificial intelligence is reshaping every industry, yet many organisations continue to face the same challenge: AI initiatives often begin as isolated projects that deliver localised benefits but remain difficult to scale across the business.
At CTF Life, the focus has never been on deploying more AI solutions. Instead, the company has adopted a connected enterprise approach that enables AI capabilities to be developed, governed, and adopted consistently across the organisation. This approach formed the foundation of CTF Life's winning submission for the AI - Insurance category at the Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards 2026.
To illustrate this connected approach, CTF Life introduced the One Model Galaxy (OMG) concept—an enterprise model that demonstrates how AI capabilities can be connected into a unified operating approach, rather than existing as standalone initiatives. Instead of viewing AI as a collection of individual tools, the model emphasises how people, technology, governance, and business processes work together to enable AI adoption at scale.
The approach is built around four interconnected pillars: workforce enablement, AI solution development, business integration, and governance. Together, they provide a structured foundation for expanding AI responsibly whilst ensuring every initiative aligns with business objectives and enterprise standards.
Today, AI capabilities support a broad range of business functions across the organisation, including human resources, risk management, sales, customer engagement, financial services, and business operations. Solutions such as AI HR Buddy, AI Risk Guard, and AI PD Sales Manager demonstrate how AI is embedded into everyday work, providing employees with timely, contextual support whilst improving operational efficiency and decision-making.
Underpinning these capabilities is a robust governance framework that includes AI Council oversight, lifecycle management, risk assessments, human-in-the-loop controls, and privacy and compliance safeguards. Together with enterprise-wide AI training, these measures enable AI to be adopted confidently and responsibly across the organisation.
The connected approach has also delivered measurable business outcomes. CTF Life has accelerated product development, improved turnaround times across key business processes, increased straight-through processing, and strengthened enterprise-wide AI adoption. At the same time, AI-enabled customer engagement and digital services continue to enhance operational productivity whilst supporting CTF Life's commitment to delivering value beyond insurance through more personalised and meaningful customer experiences.
Rather than pursuing AI as a series of disconnected innovations, CTF Life has demonstrated how a unified enterprise approach can transform AI into a sustainable business capability. By connecting technology, governance, and people through a common operating model, the company is creating a scalable foundation for long-term innovation across the organisation.
