
Cathay Pacific increases flight frequencies in Mainland
The airline will focus on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta regions.
The Cathay Group is increasing its flight frequencies to the Mainland by providing close to 300 return flights per week during peak periods.
The airline will focus on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Yangtze River Delta regions and other key Mainland cities to meet the significant leisure and business travel demand.
The airline will increase operations to Beijing Capital International Airport with seven daily return flights, and together with HK Express's daily flight to Beijing Daxing International Airport, will offer a total of 56 weekly return flights to the city's two main airports.
In Shanghai, Cathay will have eight daily return flights to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, along with 11 return flights per week to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
Zhengzhou, Ningbo, Haikou, and Chongqing will have daily flights, with HK Express also operating daily flights to Ningbo this summer.
Additionally, flight frequency will increase in Hangzhou to four daily return flights, Nanjing to twice daily, Wenzhou to 10 weekly, and Wuhan to 12 weekly.
Further, Cathay Pacific will launch direct flights between Hong Kong and Urumqi starting 28 April.
