MTR taps Mace as programme management partner for railway projects

Mace will create an integrated project management office for MTR.

MTR has appointed Mace as the Programme Management Partner (PMP) for its new railway extension projects.

As the PMP, Mace will create an integrated Project Management Office (PMO) to facilitate the seamless implementation of PMO functions and digital systems.

The partnership will also enhance the PMO capability of the Capital Works team, enabling them to establish best-in-class Integrated Project Controls, digital services, and NEC contracting.

MTR’s railway network supports the extensive public transport network in Hong Kong, serving 4.45 million passengers daily.

Mace’s previous projects include the Peruvian reconstruction work, Metrolinx in Canada, the Hudson Tunnel Project in New York, and the redevelopment of the RLDA Ahmedabad Railway Station in India.
