Chery Automobile launches $9.15b IPO
This is considered the biggest IPO yet in 2025.
Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery Automobile is poised to raise $9.15b in its initial public offering debut in Hong Kong, marking the biggest IPO in the city for 2025.
Chery Automobile is selling 297.39 million shares at a maximum offer price of $30.75.
Final pricing will be announced on 24 September, with trading expected to commence on the next day.
Chery Automobile is a Chinese automaker that builds passenger cars under several marques, including the Chery brand’s Tiggo SUVs (Tiggo 9, Tiggo 8 Pro Max, Tiggo 7 Pro Max, Tiggo 4 Pro) and Arrizo sedans, plus the premium Exeed line (TX, TXL); it also operates Jetour and iCAR brands.
