1.36mn passengers expected during Ching Ming Festival

An average of about 340,000 daily will pass through Lo Wu control point.

According to Hong Kong Information Services Department, about 205,000 passengers are expected to depart on April 4, which is seen to be the busiest day of the Festival. On the other hand, 200,000 people is expected to arrive in Hong Kong on April 5.

The Immigration Department, Police, Customs & Excise Department and the MTR Corporation will set up a joint command centre at Lo Wu control point to monitor traffic conditions.
