Man Wah Holdings unit hits HK$175m orders

This record hit is during the National Day Golden Week.

According to a release, Man Wah Holdings Limited’s Cheers and Enlanda branded specialty stores in Mainland China recorded orders totalling RMB143 million (equivalent to approximately HK$175 million) during the National Day Golden Week from 30 September to 7 October 2012.

Particularly noteworthy, the Group’s self-operated stores recorded orders of RMB55.5 million (equivalent to approximately HK$67.8 million) in the past eight days, and their seven-day order value from 1 to 7 October 2012 achieved a 23.3% growth compared with the corresponding period of last year.

During the Golden Week, the Group launched a series of attractive promotional campaigns including a celebrity show and marketing activities co-organised with furniture malls which helped boost the sales performance.
