Without passion, there wouldn’t be any art at all

In 60 years, FREYWILLE has successfully established a jewelry line that has become an aspirational brand for women all over the world. As a global leading jeweler of artistic enamel, it has collaborated with the most important artists of 20th century such as Claude Monet, Gustav Klimt, Hundertwasser, Alphonse Mucha, attracting thousands of collectors who breathlessly awaited each creation and line.

Over the decades, FREYWILLE designers have endeavored to refine the intricate production process to make each piece of jewelry a precious work of art. “All of the manufacturing takes place in Vienna with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail. Although the process of designing and developing the final product may take several years of research and design, FREYWILLE is proud to offer numerous collections,” shares FREYWILLE’s CEO, Dr Friedrich Wille.

According to Dr Wille, their team of artists, designers and jewelers is continuously doing refined work to create collections full of emotions and philosophy.

“The priceless value of humanity is transmitted through the hands of our passionate artists and through the uniqueness of materials and artistry, appealing to the individuality of every FREYWILLE’s devotee.”

“At FREYWILLE, we believe that people are the most essential part in every aspect of life. We all have feelings. Each of us experiences an array of emotions every day as part of our existence,” says Dr Wille. He adds that they all explore their emotions and dedicate time to capture these complex and delicate feelings in their pieces of jewelry. “We constantly aim to enrich our collections with symbols from other cultures and with history and art. Besides that we take inspiration from travel and the beauty of the world,” he adds.

FREYWILLE’s philosophy is fundamental human value. It has collaborated with more than five hundred employees across the globe, and served as a basic channel through which the beauty of these employees' designs influence the outside world. This is what unites them all - each of them sharing the joy of success and the compelling elements of their common growth.

The company’s 60 years in the high-end jewelry business is largely defined by their most sought after creations. Dr Wille shares that some of their collections remain popular throughout the years. “For example the Hommage à Claude Monet was launched in 1996, and our clients still love it,” says Dr Wille.

Apart from the renowned Claude Monet collection, for FREYWILLE, a Viennese company committed to art from its very roots, the Hommage à Gustav Klimt collection has not only been another best seller, it has also been an important source of inspiration for many years. “This collection is a tribute to Vienna’s role in the Art Nouveau movement and the exceptional artist, Gustav Klimt. The designs of this collection are inspired by some of Klimt’s most famous paintings, yet are an independent work of art by the FREYWILLE artists,” Dr Wille explains.

Their latest collection Passionate Russia, which was launched in fall 2013, is another great success among our customers and exceeds all our expectations. This collection is a true unique masterpiece from FREYWILLE, a tribute to a country rich in art, culture and history. “Nothing of importance in the world has ever been accomplished without passion - without passion there wouldn’t be any art at all,” says Dr Wille.

“We create a value that money can't buy, such as love, the joy of life, the pure happiness that we find in the simple things of life, nature and art .These are some of the core values that we believe in at FREYWILLE,” he adds.

According to Dr Wille, it is the company’s desire to use its creations to visualize the wonderful aspect of human existence, not just the beauty of nature in all its glory but also the magic it inherits which only the power of the heart can bring to light.

With their in-house team of artists and their absolute dedication to bridge the gap between art and jewelry, FREYWILLE’s team will constantly and consistently surprise the world with designs full of joy and passion.
