HK promotes legal services in the UAE

CJ Lam highlighted HK's role as a one-stop platform for nations accessing China.

Justice Secretary Paul Lam promoted Hong Kong’’s legal and dispute resolution services in the United Arab Emirates.

At the "Hong Kong - The Common Law Gateway for UAE Businesses to China & Beyond" forum, Lam emphasized Hong Kong's role as a “super-connector” and “super value-adder” between Mainland China and the world as its only common law jurisdiction.

He added that Hong Kong’s common law system and top-quality, user-friendly, and reliable legal services can offer exclusive one-stop-shop services for overseas businesses to explore investment opportunities in China and beyond.

In addition, Lam introduced opportunities in the GBA area, which offers the unique advantages of “one country, two systems, and three jurisdictions.”
