Macau's gross gaming revenue climbed 13.5% to HK$28.7bn

Thanks to strong mass table revenue.

According to Barclays, May gross gaming revenue (GGR) was up 13.5% y/y at HK$28.7bn: This was driven by strong mass table revenue growth of 32.8% y/y and stable rolling chip volume growth at 7.7% y/y.

The May mass table revenue increased a substantial 32.8% year-over-year to HK$8.23bn. This is a new high for mass gaming revenue after March and was up 4.4% m/m. VIP rolling chip was up 7.7% y/y to HK$621.6bn, up8.7% m/m. The combined market win rate was, however, lower at 3.11%, down from 3.23% in April and is the lowest for the year so far.
