The theater will host performances and feature arts facilities.
East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC) opened to stage performances and to support the nation's performing arts industry.
EKCC provides five performing facilities with 120 to 1,200 seats and flexible stage setups.
The Hall facility is made for large-scale events: The Theatre holds a thrust stage; The Turns facilitates full-wall projection; The Beats is equipped with professional audio mixing and amplifying systems; and The Lab acts as an arts technology testbed studio.
From now to February 2026, the EKCC will present 17 programmes, including The Memories of Charles Kao premiering on 15 November 2025.
