Large and medium companies showed higher digital adoption than small businesses.
Ninety-nine percent of companies used computers or smartphones for business purposes in 2025, according to a Census and Statistics Department report.
The report showed that 57% of firms maintained a web presence, with adoption rates for computers and online visibility higher amongst large and medium-sized companies than small businesses.
The information and communications sector recorded the highest web presence at 85%, whilst the transportation, storage, and courier services sector had the lowest at 34%.
The survey—conducted from March to December 2025—covered business use of computers, smartphones, the Internet, web presence, e-commerce, information technology security, and communication technology.
