Azores Corp opens regional headquarters in Hong Kong

Azores Corporation opened its regional headquarters inside the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks. It will provide service support and develop application software for its clients in the region.

"We have long been doing business with our clients in Asia and it makes perfect sense to be close to our customers, to better serve their needs and further explore business opportunities in the region. Hong Kong has the advantage of being centrally located within Asia, offering easy access to existing and future customers in the region, particularly in southern China where many of our clients are located," said General Manager of Azores Asia Ltd, Mr Yeong Oh. "Our regional headquarters in Hong Kong will offer better photolithography solutions to Asian customers in the flat panel display industry by providing a higher level of service and support.  We will have a service support centre for Azores' photolithography systems, and an applications support centre. We are actively recruiting engineers in Hong Kong to enhance our capability in the region."

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong, Mr Charles Ng, welcomed the setting up of Azores Asia Ltd in Hong Kong. He said, "We are delighted to see Azores establish an engineering and technical support facility in Hong Kong to take advantage of the technical and commercial talent that is available here. With the excellent connectivity and geographic proximity to the large manufacturers of flat panel displays in the region, we are confident that Azores in Hong Kong will be able to capitalise on the many opportunities that will arise from being close to their customers."
