Cathay overhauls key roles in Southeast Asia and Oceania
Frosti Lau has been tapped as the regional general manager.
Cathay has reshuffled several key management roles across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Frosti Lau has been appointed as Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia & Oceania, moving from his previous role overseeing the Southwest Pacific.
Lau has held leadership roles across commercial, cargo, and operations in Hong Kong, as well as regional leadership positions in the Chinese Mainland, South Africa, and Oceania.
Notably, he also pioneered the establishment of Cathay's first Cargo Digital team and later the Cargo Customer Experience team.
Jonathan Ng has been named Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle for Southeast Asia and Oceania, expanding his responsibilities beyond the region.
Earlier, he worked at HK Express as General Manager of Corporate Planning.
Ashish Kapur will head cargo operations in Southeast Asia and Oceania, whilst Lynn See will oversee people management for the region.
Steve Cheung, formerly with Northeast Asia, will take charge of finance. Adam Nelson moves from the Southwest Pacific to lead engineering.
Dominic Vallado will run airport operations across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
At the country level, Kelly Tsang will now manage Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam; Nicolas Masse will be responsible for Singapore and Malaysia; Tony Sham will head Indonesia; and Vishnu Rajendran will oversee the Philippines.
