PolyU partners with ZEISS for myopia control tech advancement

The partnership focuses on developing myopia control and other ophthalmic technologies.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) tied up with ZEISS Vision Care for the market penetration of the university’s proprietary myopia control lens technologies through intellectual property licencing.

The licensing agreement, signed in Aalen, Germany, will enable ZEISS to adopt the university’s patented technology into its specialised optical products.

In addition, the collaboration will delve into research and development aimed at myopia control and other ophthalmic technologies.
