Sha Tin food shop shuts down for 2 weeks

It breached the Food Business Regulation.

According to a report, the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has ordered a Sha Tin siu mei and lo mei shop to suspend business for two weeks for repeatedly breaching the Food Business Regulation.

The shop, in Hin Keng Estate market, stored food improperly and extended its business area illegally, and was ordered to close today until November 28.

The department said the shop saw two convictions in May and July, and a total fine of $1,200 was levied and 15 demerit points were registered against it, which resulted in the suspension.
