Financial Secretary holds meeting with Federal Reserve Board Chairman

Mr John Tsang also met with Moody's and Standard & Poor's in the US to discuss Hong Kong's economic and financial fundamentals.

A report by the Information Services Department said that the Financial Secretary, during his visit to the United States, held meetings with Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke and other prominent financial figures in Washington DC.

“He held meetings with the Department of the Treasury's Under Secretary for International Affairs Lael Brainard, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock Laurence Fink,” added the report.
