American Express and Groupon Hong Kong join forces

Collaboration between companies in Hong Kong enables new ways for consumers to take advantage of rewards points.

American Express and Groupon Hong Kong announced that the two companies are partnering to bring amazing benefits and rewards to consumers in Hong Kong. Beginning August 18, American Express Cardmember can redeem Groupon cash voucher at a savings of 60%. Customers who use their American Express card when transacting on the Groupon Hong Kong website are also eligible to win one million reward points.

The collaboration sets a major milestone for both American Express and Groupon Hong Kong. Groupon Hong Kong has become the first Membership Rewards partner of American Express from the online group-buying category, adding a new dimension to the American Express Membership Rewards program and offering American Express Cardmembers broader choice in their rewards selection.

The collaboration kicks off on August 18 with the "8 Million Membership Rewards Points Lucky Draw". With each transaction of any spending amount on made with eligible American Express Cards during the promotion period of August 18 to September 30, Cardmember will receive one entry into the lucky draw for a chance to be one of eight winners of one million MR points.
