Hong Kong inks custom pact with Fiji

It aims to boost cooperation in law enforcement and facilitate trade.

Commissioner of Customs & Excise Hermes Tang has inked a cooperative arrangement with Visvanath Das, CEO of the Fiji Revenue & Customs Service Visvanath Das to enhance cooperation in law enforcement and trade facilitation between the two economies. 

Both sides will strengthen law enforcement cooperation, information sharing for trade facilitation, and streamlining import and export controls to create a business-friendly environment for legitimate trade activities, according to a government statement.

The latest deal adds to 25 similar arrangements Hong Kong has already signed with customs administration of various territories.
