Property at Sun Chun Street up for public auction

The property has a reserve price of $588.7m.

A property at Sun Chun Street in Causeway Bay with a reserve price of $588.7m will be up for public auction on 25 August, 10:30 a.m., under the Land (Compulsory Sales for Redevelopment) Ordinance.

The auction will be held at the JLL office, 7/F One Taikoo Place, 979 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong.
 
“The Property is to be sold partly with vacant possession and partly subject to existing lettings, tenancies and licences (if any) and existing building orders and on an 'as is' basis,” said JLL, the appointed auctioneer for the party.
 
According to JLL, the property to be auctioned off comprise five tenement buildings of five to seven storeys:  

  • Nos. 17 and 17A with shops on the ground floor and domestic units on 1/F to 5/F; 
  • Nos. 18 and 19 with shops on the ground floor and domestic units on 1/F to 4/F; 
  • Nos. 21 and 22 with shops on the ground floor, stores on the mezzanine floor and domestic units on 1/F to 5/F; 
  • Nos. 23 and 24 with shops on the ground floor and domestic units on 1/F to 5/F; and
  • No. 25 with shops on the ground floor and domestic units on 1/F to 5/F with a roof.

 The site where the property sits measures 4,497 square feet and is zoned as "Residential (Group A)1" under Approved Causeway Bay Outline Zoning Plan No. S/H6/17.
