Property sales rocket 43.8% to 8,599 in March

Total consideration rose 57.2% to $68.9b.

The Hong Kong Land Registry recorded a 43.8% growth in the sale and purchase agreements for the city's building units to 8,599 in March from 5,980 in February.

The total consideration for these agreements rose by 57.2% to $68.9b from $43.8b.

Sale and purchase agreements for residential units last March increased 56.2% to 6,690 from 4,282 last February, whilst the total consideration for said units increased 57.9% to $57.9b.
