11 HDB prime shophouses and strata retail shop for sale: CBRE

Notable HDB shophouse occupants are 7-Eleven convenience stores.

The Heartland Collection, which has a portfolio of 11 prime HDB shophouses and a 999-year leasehold strata retail shop at Peninsula Plaza was opened for sale, CBRE revealed.

Its guide price is over $52.2m and is offered for sale via an expression of interest exercise that ends on 10 May 2023 at 3 p.m.

Portfolio properties located in prime mature residential estates including Jurong, Clementi, Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Yishun, Tampines and Hougang.

Amongst the occupiers are 7-Eleven convenience stores, considered a blue-chip tenant on a long-term basis at half of the HDB shophouses.

Clemence Lee, CBRE Singapore executive director of capital markets, said the portfolio is a rare opportunity for investors to acquire prime heartland shophouses, given the discontinued sale of HDB shops in 1998.
